• Not taking new cases right now

As my testing caseload and waiting list are very large right now, I have decided to stop taking any new cases or add anyone to my waiting list for the time being. I will reopen my waiting list and/or take on new testing cases as soon as I am able. Please feel free to check the website and/or check my outgoing phone message periodically; as soon as I am able to take new cases I will update the website and my outgoing message to reflect this. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

On 9/1/10 Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts decided to make significant changes to their fee schedule for neuropsychogical and psychological testing. These changes apply to all of their plans, including HMO and PPO. Unfortunately, the company decided to cut reimbursement for testing by 40%.

As a solo practitioner I am unable to sustain a cut of this magnitude and therefore I have resigned from the panel. I will be completing all open BCBS testing cases but am not taking any new BCBS clients. I will be off the panel as of 12/1/10. Prospective clients with BCBS insurance are welcome to see me on a self-pay basis. I have recently developed a brief consultation/assessment package that may be an economical and helpful option for clients in this situation.
